Cat’s Meow Village wooden collectible featuring the Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse in New Castle, New Hampshire. Established in 1771, it was the 10th lighthouse built before the American Revolution. The first tower was a wooden structure with an iron lantern and copper roof, lit by three copper oil lamps.
Today’s lighthouse displays a fixed green signal visible for 12 nautical miles, created by an acrylic cylinder surrounding the lens. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.
Each piece features a colorful illustrated front and a short description on the back. Designed by artist Faline Fry Jones, these pieces sit neatly on shelves, window trim, wainscoting, or display ledges
