Cat’s Meow Village wooden collectible featuring Point Betsie Lighthouse, located north of Frankfort, Michigan at the southern entrance to the Manitou Passage. Built in 1858, Point Betsie was one of the last lighthouses on Lake Michigan to be automated, finally switching in 1983.
Today, the lighthouse is lovingly cared for by the Friends of Point Betsie Lighthouse and is open for tours throughout the year.
Handcrafted from 3/4" thick wood in the Wooster, Ohio workshop, this piece includes colorful detailing on the front and a printed story on the back.
Look closely — Casper the black cat is disguised in the grass, waiting for a critter to cross his path.
Each piece features a colorful illustrated front and a short description on the back. Designed by artist Faline Fry Jones, these pieces sit neatly on shelves, window trim, wainscoting, or display ledges.
