Cat’s Meow Village wooden collectible featuring Big Sable Point Lighthouse, standing 112 feet tall along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Built in 1867, it remains one of Michigan’s most iconic lights — and in 1949, Big Sable became the last Great Lakes lighthouse to be electrified.
The lighthouse is open for tours daily from early May through late October. Visitors can climb 130 steps to the top or browse the gift shop at the base.
Look closely — Casper the black cat has taken up residence in the design, the sign of an authentic Cat’s Meow Village piece found on most pieces.
Cat’s Meow Village collectibles are ¾" thick wooden keepsakes handcrafted in the USA. Each piece features a colorful illustrated front and a short description on the back. Designed by artist Faline Fry Jones, these pieces sit neatly on shelves, window trim, wainscoting, or display ledges.
