Cat’s Meow Village wooden collectible featuring Lady Elaine Fairchilde’s Museum‑Go‑Round, home of the Neighborhood of Make‑Believe’s most opinionated, eccentric, and mischievous resident. Lady Elaine often stirs up trouble, but she’s also the one who stands up to King Friday XIII’s unreasonable demands — keeping everyone honest with her bold personality.

Fred Rogers once said: “She’s the mischief‑maker of the Neighborhood of Make‑Believe. She keeps King Friday honest… because she’s so honest herself.”

Rumor has it Lady Elaine was named after Fred’s sister, “Lainey,” who was adopted when she was six months old.

Handcrafted from 3/4" thick wood in the Wooster, Ohio workshop — just 130 miles west of Pittsburgh, where Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood was filmed at WQED from 1968–2001.

Look closely — Casper the black cat is listening to Lady Elaine yell down to him, “Okay, toots.”

Each piece features a colorful illustrated front and a short description on the back. Designed by artist Faline Fry Jones, these pieces sit neatly on shelves, window trim, wainscoting, or display ledges
